EA and DICE has released the second trailer for the exciting new cartoon shooter Battlefield Heroes! This new trailer shows off the latest gameplay action. We also have some new info on the BFH beta thanks to VideoGamer.com. Check it out:

Over the past few months, we have had a lot going on in the MIAClan.net Gaming Community. We have some news today that is somewhat out of the blue regarding a new patch for Battlefield 2142. Take a look:

It has been a little quiet on the Battlefield PC scene recently when it comes to what the DICE Live team has been up to. That’s because on top of dealing with cheats and server problems, we have been busy listening to you all in the community and working on a new update for Battlefield 2142. As well as making significant updates, we are bringing new content to 2142 which will bring new experiences to the Battlefield. As with Update 1.40, we will be running public beta on the update to gather your feedback so watch out for that announcement when we’ll be explaining more about the new content.

Over the past few weeks, I have read dozens of reviews on the new First Person Shooter game called Frontlines Fuel of War. There have been mixed reviews on this game. Some players say they released to it early. After reading the problems that players were having, I would have to agree with them, but the developers have made it right and it is now an awesome FPS game. The one thing that makes this game worth getting is the developers dedication to making this game right. The last patch that they released solved many of the problems that players were having. Nvidia has also came out with a set of driver that can handle the Physics engine that the game using.  This is going to make it one of the best FPS game ever. Most developers only make things worse with patches, the developers of Frontlines are listening to the gamers to make Frontlines the game we wish Battlefield series would have been.

 After weeks of debating on whether I really wanted another FPS game decided to take a chance and purchase it. I had heard that some players were having problem with Steam installs so I did some research and found out they corrected the problem, so I bought it through Steam. The install was a breeze and Steam automatically updated the game for me to the newest version. I would now like to let me you an inside look at the game itself.

While playing the game over the past few days, I couldn’t help but to feel like I did when I use to play Battlefield 2. There is a constant struggle to control all your control points in order to move your team's Frontline forward into the enemies’ territory. The action in the game is always concentrated within a few controls points that are spread out on the Frontline. This helps to keep you in the action and prevent you from feeling like you are alone on the battlefield. For instance, the Village maps control points are only about 130 meters apart. The bigger maps include tanks, hummers, APCs and air support. It is very quick and easy to get from one control point to another since the control points are all located on your Frontline. This game is non stop action even with only a few players in the server and is a constant battle to capture all the control points on the Frontlines in order to move forward into the enemies’ territory.

Unlike Battlefield 2142, there aren’t many high tech gadgets that make you feel like you are playing Star Wars. LOL  The weapons in the game are either currently used in the military or in development by the military. There are six different weapon sets to choose from ranging from Sniper to Anti-tank.  You can also pick a role to play with your kit. In each role there are three upgrades you can unlock. One role that really stand out is the Drone Technician role.  This class can control up to three robot drones. There are two of them that work like RC cars to scout out enemies, take out enemies and detonate under vehicles. There is also a RC helicopter that is know as a sniper worse enemy. These drones are very fun to use add a little more fun to the game experience.  Besides this new developed role, all the other roles are standard. They include the air support tech, the emp tech, ground support and others.  Here is a video for you all to check out on loadouts and drones.

If you have been thinking about a new first person game, Frontlines Fuel of War a must have. The game is based only 20 years in the future and is a cross between Battlefield 2 and COD4. It is non stop action and gives game play for both infantry and armor players. The developers have listened to the gamers and made changes that needed to be made with patches to the game. Another patch is due out this month that will add VOIP, Clan server recognition with Clan Logo, Ranks System and more. GO GET FRONTLINES: FUEL OF WAR NOW!!!

I am very excited about this new game. I have heard reviews from some of the members and they say it is a cross between Battlefield 2 and Call of Duty 4. I hope they are right. There are both big armor maps and small infantry. I have been trying to find all the information I can on it and have found some great videos on the Multiplayer side of the game. The multiplayer demo was supposed to be released on March 11th, but they are still working out some of the bugs so it has been postponed. Here is what Kaos has to say about them postponing the demo. I feel it is good news. They seem to really care about the multiplayer gaming side of this game.

Kaos has announced that the PC Frontlines Multiplayer demo has been postponed. No new release date has been set:

Today, both Kaos Studios and THQ have agreed to postpone the multiplayer PC Demo. Studio development efforts are being applied to feature fixes and enhancements to support the existing community. Kaos Studios recognizes the overwhelming support the community has given since release and is doing everything they can to deliver the best gaming experience possible.

While this may seem like a disappointment to some, I think it is ultimately pretty good news. This way, the PC demo will be able to benefit from the stability and additions that will be part of the upcoming patch. Here are a few overviews of the game for you all to check out.
