Both memorials were great. The services rendered by the Old Guard were outstanding. Our guys finally got what they deserved, a hero's welcome home. There were 20-25 guys who flew back then with our 3 brothers. I hope maybe now the family has some closure. I know that those 2 days will be remembered by all who wre there. May our 3 brothers rest in peace. Now only Rick Wlley needs to come home. Please pray that it happens soon.

I want to thank all who were at Dusty's Memorial in Waterford and Arlington and those of you who loved him and could not be with us. I feel at peace about him now that I've met some of you. Thank you for being with his family.

Nice web site. I planned the air cav and night hawk missions for the American Division from April - September 1970. Also flew many night hawk missions, so really understand how things worked.

Pilot Dave "Andy" Anderson flew Night Hawk Green with F Troop. Would love to re-connect with him as he would give one of his crew a break, fly me until midnight or so and drop me off when he refueled. That way I could get some sleep before my 7 - 7 TOC shift.

Saw with great sorrow the passing of Mike Lane. Mike was with me when he was shot and sent home. He was a great crew/gunner and absolutely fearless. Blueghost Red

Haven't checked out the site for a good while. (Shame on me, I know.) I have a friend whose son is in basic, and he is going into the cavalry. I was telling her about my Dad and you guys and the Air Cav. That's when I saw that you all are coming to Atlanta in 2012. I am so excited and can't wait to share the news with my brother. I hope we both can attend!

I work as a writer for R.W. Norton Art Gallery, an art museum in Shreveport, LA, where we're mounting an exhibit of 80 photographs from the Vietnam War. They were shot by an army photographer in 1970-71. A few portray soldiers with Blue Ghosts. I interviewed Brigadier General (ret) Edwin L. Kennedy, commander of 196th LIB in 1970, and he thought they were Blue Ghost soldiers. I'd like to find out more information about the unit, and perhaps identify these soldiers. Please write me at gf@rwnaf.org or call my cell, (205) 305-8766. Thank you, and thank you for your service.
