I would like everyone to take a momment to remember our brother Tom Cortright. He passed on the 25th of July. He was a great friend and a true American hero. If you were at this year's reunion you know this. What a brave soldier. Even though he was quite ill he still made time for us. What a brother, I will never forget him. Received my claim back from VA yesterday and it was denied for my cancer being caused by agent orange. It is not a cancer reconized by VA under agent orange act of 1991. Posted by Blueghost737 on July 1, 2010 @ 11:05pm
Not a Ghost but friend and crewman with one, Gil Snow. Lost touch with him after I got out, Hope you read this Gil! Another thing, I purchased an estate lot that belongs to a W2 named Thomas E. Huber who flew Guns in F/8. He won a DFC in 1969 for action near Tien Phuoc. I'm working to memorialize him through the items I have acquired and would like to hear from anyone who can help fill out his service. Posted by Chris Miller on June 24, 2010 @ 11:37am
I am the other Greg Ross... I was Blueghost 40, slick A/C in late 1971 thru March 72. My hooch mate was Ben Nielsen (another slick driver) and ... Howard Keel? a Loach pilot? Wow, my memory isn't what it used to be. I am now 64 and the 3 years in the US Army are more like 30 years in my soul. God Bless America and all of its young men who gave all. I'm Robert Phillip Holden's wife. He had a nick name of Hoagie. We went to San Diego & Washington DC's reunion & he went to the Florida one by himself. I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of him that they could send me. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
