My name is Paul Orrison, and I am the son of Stephen L. Orrison. It's my understanding that he served with the Blue Ghosts sometime after May 30, 1970. I don't know exact dates, or much about his time in-country, aside from his being a platoon leader, and picking up his nickname "Blue" from serving with this unit (as have apparently a couple of others).
I was hoping that someone may be able to provide me with any information about his service in Vietnam. I know next to nothing about what he did in the Army until about 1983.
My father passed away 9 years ago, well before I was ready to learn what he had gone through (he also had a hard time talking about it). As a result, all I know comes from the occasional story, hearsay, and odd accounts from some of my high school classmates (he spoke to a history class once, but died before I got up to that part of class).
