From Ltc Ret. Mark A. Ison, Section Leader Night Hawk, 1970 and night Hawk Hawk "Sabor 44" D Troop, 1st Cav, Chu Lie.
I served with Blue Ghost, Night Hawk until LamSam 719 up North. My section was trans to D Troop 1Cav Sabors to support Chu Lie security and the Brigadesd within the Americal Division.
WO Sadio was killed while flying with me toward his final days in country. We experienced an eng failure after departure from the Div Main TOC. I do not remember all of the crew members but I'm sure Stg Schults was with us that night. Sp4 Russ Carmean spent the hight with me this week. We spent 4 to 5 hours talking about our year with Night Hawk. I have a large number of color slides and a few photos if anyone is interested. CW4 Ret Randy Palmer and were room mates after we movet to the Chu Lie Airfield from Kehaw. Mr. Palmer served together at Fort Sill, OK for a number of years. Mr. Palmer flew Cobras as I recall.
