On February 23rd, 1969, I was on guard duty behind the mess hall when the rockets hit at 3:00 AM, some right in front of the bunker. We were just about finished with guard duty when the
rockets hit again. Others joined us in our bunker from the mess hall, including Earl Courtney if I remember right. |
